JAC maintains its leading position in global vehicle exports.

According to data from the CAAM (China Association of Automobile Manufacturers), JAC Motors' Utes continued their upward momentum in November 2024, with global sales reaching 5,666 units for the month, a year-on-year increase of 37.7%, of which international market sales grew by 57.3%. Making JAC the No.1 exporter of high-end light trucks, a position it has held for over 14 years.  From January to November of 2024, JAC Motors exported a total of 49,000 Ute units, making JAC the second largest Ute exporter in China.

The achievement of becoming the No.1 Light Truck and No.2 Ute Exporter in China is the result of JAC Motors' sustained efforts in global markets and product development. After 15 years of development, JAC Motors has established a comprehensive product line-up covering all categories, scenarios, and price ranges, exporting to over 130 countries and regions. Its Utes are highly praised in regions such as Latin America, Central Asia, Africa, and the Gulf.

Domestically rooted and globally focused

JAC Motors has been actively expanding its overseas presence. In September, the T9 EV made its global debut at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany—the world's largest and most influential commercial vehicle exhibition. As China's first all-electric four-wheel-drive Ute showcased in Europe, the T9 EV, built on a dedicated medium and large intelligent passenger Ute platform, garnered unanimous acclaim from international audiences for its advanced technology and outstanding performance.

The brand-new T9 passenger edition also made its refreshed debut at this year's Guangzhou International Auto Show, redefining the driving experience of passenger Utes. It completes the T9 series' dual focus on fuel and electric models, embodying JAC Motors' product strategy of 'emphasising both commercial and passenger vehicles, and paying equal attention to oil and electricity.'

As China's first Frame-on-Body, intelligent all-electric four-wheel-drive Ute, the T9 EV has attracted widespread attention and high recognition from both domestic and international industries and media since its release. Recently, the first batch of 300 units of T9 EV was delivered to China's national power system, marking a significant step in supporting the industry's green and low-carbon development. With the addition of models like the T9 EV, JAC Motors is confident in achieving even greater market goals by 2025.

While optimising its product and global market strategies, JAC Motors places top priority on product quality and safety. As a global model, the T9 Ute earned the highest five-star safety rating in the ANCAP safety test in Australia. The JAC T9 was also named Australia’s Safest Ute and fourth safest vehicle overall for 2024, based on 2024 ANCAP testing overall weighted score.

The journey of advancement never stops. Securing the title of China’s No.1 Light Truck and No.2 Ute Exporter is just the beginning. Facing the opportunities and challenges of the trends towards passenger transportation and new energy, JAC Motors will continue to implement its internationalisation strategy, stay user-centred, strengthen its global partnerships, seize globalisation opportunities, and strive for new breakthroughs in the global market, creating a new hallmark for Chinese Utes.
