JAC Motors is thrilled to announce that the highly-anticipated JAC T9 EV Dual-Cab 4X4 Ute will make its Australian premiere at the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show on April 5 and 6.
The new JAC T9 EV represents a significant advancement in the dual-cab utility vehicle segment, combining robust performance capabilities with zero-emission motoring.
The JAC T9 EV will join the futuristic JAC De-Fine electric concept and the JAC T9 Dual-Cab 4X4 turbodiesel range on the stand, giving showgoers a taste of Today, Tomorrow and Beyond from the JAC Motors world.

The JAC T9 EV makes its Australian premiere just over a year after it was first revealed at the Guangzhou Motor Show. Since then, the JAC T9 EV has been launched to strong demand in China and a number of international markets.
JAC T9 EV IN DETAIL
The JAC T9 EV Dual-Cab 4X4 Ute shares its platform with its combustion-engined sibling, modified to house an 88kW LFP battery in the floor and dual electric motors with combined outputs of 220kW and 516Nm. The JAC T9 EV can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 8.5 seconds, and has a WLTP driving range of 330km1.
The JAC T9 EV facilitates both AC and DC charging, and can replenish from 15-80 percent in just 40 minutes. It also has an external power socket for Vehicle-2-Load (V2L) applications such as powering electric tools on-site.
The JAC T9 EV’s hard-working credentials also include a payload rating of 900kg and a tub which can fit a full-size Australian pallet between the wheelarches.
Inside, the JAC T9 EV offers the same spacious comfort and practicality as its ICE sibling. It boasts a long list of features and safety systems similar to the turbodiesel T9 Haven grade that not only makes the JAC T9 turbodiesel one of Australia’s best value dual-cab 4X4 Utes, the JAC T9 has also been recognised as Australia’s Safest Ute2.
